    NAS and Plex?

I have already set my Pi up as a Plex server. I'd like to make the drive available over my network so that I can add movies and edit content without having to eject it. If I follow the tutorial to set it up as a NAS will that mess up my Plex Server at all?
  2. Hi All, New to the forum and new to Raspberry Pi stuff over all. I followed the directions from start to finish, but am now having an issue. The spot where I am supposed to change the user from PLEX to Pi and when it gets to the spot to do it, the screen shows no script. So I went past that and figured it was no loss if everything else was going to work. So far so good. Now I am at the point on the PLEX Media server to add my folders containing my movies and TV Shows, Etc. PLEX shows the External Hard Drives, but when I click on them to move to the specific folders I want such as Movies to pin down the source it will not move to that step. Someone must have had this happen to them more than once and I hope there is some help. I have even gone to the extent to format, swap and add a fresh image to my 16gb SD cards and start all over. I end up with the exact same results at all levels and I have done this 5 times now. I am using NOOBS to install Raspbian so I guess I should ask if I need to just use a different OS. Windows, Unbuntu??? I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance.
